We also gave him daily physical rehabilitation.

Post-treatment:

After 8 days of treatment, the perineal region was more sensitive. There was obvious abdominal reflexes and cremasteric reflexes. Both his energy and physical strength were improved. Now there’s nothing Australia’s media like more than a celebrity refugee.Crime stories require resources and insider knowledge; feel good refugee stories fit easily into the government’s propaganda machine and require no skills at all.

So let’s tell the gangster’s story.Of all the many peculiar stories thrown up by the Australian government’s slavish devotion to mass immigration and the theory of multiculturalism, the international criminal elements thus imported and the conflicts with the local milieu is almost entirely unreported. But sometimes, even in the debilitated state of contemporary journalism, world’s collide — and make for ludicrously good stories, scandals from top to bottom.
And that’s exactly what happened back in 2010, when infamous Sydney identity Gerardo Mazzella, also known as Gerard Duncan, sought the services of celebrity refugee Dr Munjed Al Muderis for chronic back pain.
Muderis suggested surgery would help and performed hip arthroscopy on Gerardo Mazzella in March 2010.
Gerardo claimed that as a result of the operation, his pudendal nerve was crushed and he lost feeling in his penis.
Shortly to become a very famous penis indeed, while Dr Muderis was labelled a “penis killer”.
It is alleged that Gerardo’s brother Rodney Duncan attended the last appointment with him in September 2010, and told Muderis: “My brother lost his dick; I’m going to chop your dick off.”

The claims of threatening conduct are denied.

Dr Al Muderis (pictured), famous for pioneering prosthetic limbs for amputees, told Daily Mail Australia he thinks the sign is ‘hilarious’ but confirmed he will still be pursuing legal action

‘I don’t know where the law stands here but obviously it is slanderous, so we’re taking proceedings with the court,’ Dr Al Muderis said.

‘The problem is we can not just go and ask them to take it down, we have to put in an application to the court and it takes time… time I’d much rather be spent on treating patients.’NSW police raided The Pleasure Den and other adult stores in Kings Cross earlier this month, seizing thousands of DVDs and boxes of sex paraphernalia.
The adult store has links to Gerardo Mazzella, a disgruntled former patient who was found by the Supreme Court to have defamed Dr Al Muderis in June this year and forced to pay $480,000.
Weeks later the 24 hour store had shut its doors, its normal signage had been taken down and the billboard featuring Dr Al Muderis had been erected. In defending the defamation allegations at the time, Mr Mazzella told the court the surgeon had left him feeling ‘numbness in both his penis and scrotum’ following a procedure in 2010But despite Mr Mazzella’s claims that he was unable to be sexually active, the court was told tests showed no damage to any nerves. In awarding the payout to Dr Al Muderis, Justice Stephen Rothman said he found ‘no evidence of any negligence or
Not only is Gerardo likely to be extremely high maintenance if arrested, he is also living in a part of the world where the only people in jail are those who cannot afford to buy their way out.

And he is well connected.

You want to party all night? No problem.

It is Gerard’s association with infamous Sydney underworld figure John Ibrahim and exactly which whistles he might be prepared to blow that could concern authorities.

John Ibrahim, who has owned or managed more than 40 of Sydney’s venues, has reportedly had hundreds of intelligence reports written about him by New South Wales and federal police as well as the Australian Intelligence Crime Commission.

As the book makes very clear, Ibrahim’s business interests made their millions not just under the eye of but with the cooperation of members of the NSW Police happy to share in the bounty.

A thing about bribes: they bind both parties into a cloak of secrecy.

Ibrahim writes:

In my occupation, I inevitably cross paths with drug dealers, straight cops, crooked cops, crime syndicates, stand over guys, kids targeting me with drive by shootings, and plastic gangsters who want what I’ve got, only without working for it.

Consider this a cautionary tale. You young blokes, especially, might think you want my life. But, as you will read, unless you are prepared to earn it — literally, with blood, sweat and tears — good luck. And either way, you might just end up dead. Or worse.

Anyone who has followed the history of Sydney’s inner-city demimonde through the early millennial period knows just how remarkably easy it was to buy ecstasy on Oxford Street, Sydney’s central gay strip, and of a man and his runners who were brazenly selling the party drug, moving tens of thousands of pills every weekend.

It is a piece of Sydney history some might definitely prefer remained in the past.

The ready availability of party drugs coincided with the ballooning of Sydney’s nightclub scene, particularly with the club Arq, which Ibrahim purchased.
When I began to build up here, everyone said I was crazy,” Mazzella said. His simple endeavor, dubbed Da Gerardo by regulars, has turned out to be a huge success. Sailboats and yachts drop anchor in Frontone bay and their passengers make the hike up to this rustic spot for its homemade island food and sweeping views across the bay to Porto.

The property belonged to Mazzella’s grandfather and, feeling an intense connection to his ancestral land, he fashioned an ethnographic collection out of family heirlooms. Soon, other island dwellers contributed their own artifacts, and now several rooms adjacent to the restaurant display antique fishing and herding implements, peasant clothing and photographs that recount the story of Ponza’s dual nature.

“The Ponzesi had to be good at two things to survive: fishing and farming,” Mazzella said, using the term for Ponza natives. “They were skilled fishermen, teaching their craft to others in Tuscany, Sardinia and even Tunisia. But the island is fertile and they learned to cultivate the earth, too.”

On Da Gerardo’s menu, locally grown lentils and cicerchie, a chick pea-like legume cultivated on the island since antiquity, are the basis for hearty soups, while savory pies are filled with leafy greens and local cheese. Fried moray eels are served with a wedge of lemon, and octopus is stewed with potatoes.

From its high perch sheltered by thatch pergolas, Da Gerardo is a wonderful spot to appreciate the duality of Ponza, a place that calmly walks the line between remoteness and accessibility, where land and sea collide.

Dr Al Muderis, famous for pioneering prosthetic limbs for amputees and his amazing story of survival as a refugee fleeing Iraq, told Daily Mail Australia he thinks the sign is 'hilarious' but will still be pursuing legal action.

When asked if he put the sign above the store, Mr Mazzella said he had 'no comment' to make.
While admitting he saw the lighter side of having his face above Darlinghurst Rd, Dr Al Muderis said the sign had left him 'frightened'.
The surgeon claimed at one stage he had been sent pictures of a person holding a gun, in what he believed to be a threat.
